In the first six days of this year, the Russian Federation has already launched 34 KABs and struck with "Shaheds" 24 times, reported Oleg Sinegubov, the head of the regional military administration, during a national marathon broadcast.
Last night, four KABs and an equal number of "Shaheds" hit the Kharkiv region, Sinegubov specified.
“The enemy is attacking, as usual, the border settlements. Regarding the 'Molniya,' it is indeed a relatively new loitering munition made from scrap, but it still poses a danger because it carries a warhead. And yes, yesterday we recorded two such 'arrivals' in the city of Kharkiv. This occurred in the Kyiv and Kholodnohirskiy districts of Kharkiv. As a result of these strikes, civilian infrastructure was damaged. Around eight private residential buildings were affected, and windows were shattered,” noted the head of the regional military administration.
He pointed out that the situation is much more challenging in the Kupiansk direction.
“There, the enemy attempted to destroy our civilian logistical infrastructure last night, specifically the crossings from the left bank to the right. This complicated the delivery of humanitarian cargo, evacuation efforts, and similar operations. We are currently working on restoration, but this is an ongoing task for us, as the enemy tries to disrupt our logistics almost every day,” Sinegubov added.
