A report of a fire in a private house in the city of Merefa, Kharkiv region, was received by emergency services at 7:19 AM on March 2nd.

A fire report at a private house in the city of Merefa, Kharkiv region, was received at the "101" emergency number at 7:19 AM on March 2.
Upon the arrival of rescuers, the roof of the house was ablaze over an area of 80 square meters. As a result of the fire, a 54-year-old woman lost her life, reports the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kharkiv region.
Emergency services extinguished the fire by 9:02 AM. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
