In Kharkiv and the surrounding region, authorities have uncovered four more traitors while anticipating the arrival of Russians.

Collaborators from Balakleia, Kozacha Lopan, and Mala Rogan – two individuals are on the wanted list based on interviews with Russian media, and two more cases are being prepared for court, reported the head of the Investigative Department of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, Serhiy Bolvinov.

Two residents of Balakleia shared with Russian propaganda media during the occupation how eagerly they awaited the arrival of the Russian Federation. One complained to the invaders about her neighbors – former participants of the ATO. Additionally, she publicly denied the armed aggression of the Russian Federation and urged people to support the occupiers.

The other individual recounted how poorly life was in the city before the Russians arrived, expressing gratitude to the Russian troops for their assistance. He propagated the idea among locals that the Russian forces were "protecting" them. Both have been notified of their suspicions in absentia and are now on the wanted list.

Another collaborator was exposed in Kozacha Lopan. During the occupation, she was appointed by the Russians as an inspector in the Department of Internal Policy within the so-called Temporary Civil Administration, which was illegally established by representatives of the Russian Federation. She followed all the occupiers' orders and received a salary of 25,000 rubles per month. Her case is already planned to be forwarded to court, Bolvinov reported.

"We are also preparing a case against a collaborator from Mala Rogan. This is a 'fresh' story; this woman publicly and loudly proclaimed about the 'brotherly people' just two months ago, not in occupation but almost in Kharkiv. Back in early October, she assured people that very soon, by winter, the Russian military would arrive. 'They will destroy you all, and I will be the queen.' We have notified her of the suspicion, and soon it will be taken to court," Bolvinov said.
