A woman with a mental disorder has expelled her elderly mother and refuses to let her return home.

A story about an elderly woman who is being denied entry into her own home by her daughter was shared by the regional department of the National Police in the Kharkiv region.

The incident was reported by the woman herself to the police.

“On the street, the officers found an 85-year-old woman. She stated that her 58-year-old daughter, who suffers from a mental disorder, had kicked her out of the apartment and refuses to let her back in. The police accompanied the woman to her apartment, but no one answered the door. They were unable to gain access to the residence,” explained the law enforcement officials.

The elderly woman had to stay outside because she has no acquaintances or relatives who could provide her shelter.

“The police transported the woman in a service vehicle to the Center for Assistance to Victims of Violence,” the officers noted.
